29 CFR 1910.151(b): There was neither an infirmary, clinic, or hospital used for the treatment of all injured employees in near proximity to the workplace nor a person or persons adequately trained to render first aid: On or about May 16, 2012, the employer did not have persons capable of rendering first aid onsite. The company is located in Kent, OH where there is fire department available to provide emergency medical services, however they are unable to respond to the site within three to five minutes. NOTE: An employer having employee(s) with occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens must establish a written Exposure Control Plan in accordance with 29 CFR 1910.1030(c)(1)(i) to eliminate or minimize employee exposure.
