29 CFR 1926.21(b)(2): The employer did not instruct each employee in the recognition and avoidance of unsafe condition(s) and the regulation(s) applicable to his work environment to control or eliminate any hazard(s) or other exposure to illness or injury (a) On or about April 26, 2012, the employer did not instruct employees who were installing a new service gas line in a crawlspace of a residential house when there was potential for contact with any part of an energized electric power circuit, exposed or concealed and located in their work area. The employees instruction was limited to testing the existing conductive gas service line for the electrical voltage potential(s). Employees were exposed to the hazard of electric shock injury.
