North Carolina General Statute 95-129(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of North Carolina: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to struck-by hazards. a)facility, Inspection Winder #1 - the electric powered Coffing hoist, serial #JLA.487.VM, has been in-service approximately five years and has not been subject to frequent and periodic inspections. b)facility, Printer Laminator - the electric powered Coffing hoist, serial #JLA.450.XM, has been in-service approximately five years and has not been subject to frequent and periodic inspections. c)facility, Sheeter & Laminator Printer - the electric powered Yale hoist, serial #E-3-98, mounted on the Coleman crane has been in-service approximately ten years and not been subject to frequent and periodic inspections. Feasible methods of abatement include ensuring all overhead hoists are inspected in accordance with American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) B30.16 - 2007.
