Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: a)768-776 Atlantic City Boulevard, Bayville NJ: Employees engaged in activities below the installed roof trusses were exposed to crushing/struck by hazards due to insufficient temporary bracing. Condition noted on or about 10/19/11. FEASIBLE AND ACCEPTABLE METHODS TO CORRECT THIS HAZARD WOULD BE FOR THE COMPANY TO FOLLOW: 1) BCSI-B1 GUIDE TO GOOD PRACTICE FOR HANDLING, INSTALLING, RESTRAINING & BRACING OF METAL PLATE CONNECTED WOOD TRUSSES, 2) THE CONSULTATION OF A REGISTERED PROFESSIONAL ENGINEER.NAL
