29 CFR 1910.307(c): Equipment, wiring methods, and installations of equipment in hazardous Class I Division 2 locations were not intrinsically safe, or approved for the hazardous Class 1 Division 2 location, or safe for the hazardous Class I Division 2 location: 1) ConocoPhillips Bayway Refinery site - a) Butane & Propane Caverns; b) Gasoline Component Tank field: Means were not provided to prevent fire/explosion hazards, in that, Electrical conduit located in Class I Division 2 locations were rotted away exposing electrical wires rated from 110V - 4000V. Condition noted on or about 07/08/2011. References: NFPA 70 Standard for Electrical Safety in the Workplace - Articles 505.5 & 505.110 29 CFR 1910.307 General Industry Code of Regulations. ConocoPhillips Bayway Refinery, was previously cited for serious violations of this Occupational Safety and Health standard or its equivalent standard, 29 CFR 307(c) which was contained in OSHA inspection Number 310149836, Citation #01, Item #21, issued 4/30/2008 with respect to the work place located at 1400 Park Avenue Linden, NJ 07036 and became final order on 9/29/2008.
