Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish to each of his employees employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: a.At the worksite, employees were exposed to a caught by hazard while working with a press brake (Verson Machine No. B-172-150-M.P.B.) without point of operation guarding and/or an alternate measures which provide effective protection, on or about 2/10/2012. b.At the worksite, employees were exposed to a caught by hazard while working with a press brake (Cincinnati Incorporated, Serial No. 41367) without point of operation guarding and/or an alternate measures which provide effective protection, on or about 2/10/2012. Among the feasible and acceptable means to abate this condition are: 1.Develop and implement an effective program which includes exposure prevention procedures, training and enforcement on the procedures.
