North Carolina General Statute 95-129(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of North Carolina: The employer did not furnish each of his employees conditions of employment and a place of employment free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to injuries caused by the falling of a roll up door that had not been maintained in accordance with ANSI/DASMA 102-2004: a)bay area-employees working around a roll up door that is not connected to the drive motor have to lift the door up and chock it in place using a 2" X 6" piece of wood, which can be displaced causing the door to fall. One feasible means of abatement is to repair the door.
