Section 5(a)1 of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer di d not furnish to each of his employees employment and a place of employment whic h were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death o r serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to slip, tri p and fall hazards: On or about 12/10/2010, the employer did not ensure employee s were provided sufficient lighting in the employee's parking lot. Among other m ethods, one feasible and acceptable means of abatement would be to follow the AN SI/EIS RP-7 standards regarding sufficient lighting and to conduct periodic insp ections of the parking areas to include light poles to ensure sufficient illumin ation is provided to the employees.
