did not furnish to each of his employees employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: On or about 11/11/2010, All Weather Hurricane Shutters, Naples, FL. a.Employees were exposed to caught by hazards when used a drill press (Enco Model 125-1171) that lacked a magnetic restart to prevent automatic reenergization upon restoration of power. b.Employees were exposed to caught by hazards when used a drill press (Model 7931288152) that lacked a magnetic restart to prevent automatic reenergization upon restoration of power. c.Employees were exposed to caught by hazards when used a drill press (Enco Model 125-1170, Serial #07360) that lacked a magnetic restart to prevent automatic reenergization upon restoration of power. d.Employees were exposed to caught by hazards when used a drill press (Enco Model 125-1170, Serial #08517) that lacked a magnetic restart to prevent automatic reenergization upon restoration of power. e.An employee was exposed to caught by hazards when used a radial saw (Serial #18983) that lacked a magnetic restart to prevent automatic reenergization upon restoration of power. f.Employees were exposed to caught by hazards when used a bandsaw (Craftsman Professional, Model 119-224010) that lacked a magnetic restart to prevent automatic reenergization upon restoration of power. g.An employee was exposed to caught by hazards when used a radial saw (Serial #18983) that did not return automatically to the starting position when released by the operator. h.An employee was exposed to caught by hazards when used a radial saw (Serial #18983) that was not provided with an adjustable stop to prevent the forward travel of the blade beyond the position necessary to complete the cut in repetitive operations. Among the feasible and useful methods to correct the hazard in instances a through f is to prohibit the use of the machines until magnetic restart switches are provided. Among the feasible and useful methods to correct the hazard in instance g is to provide the machine with a mechanism to ensure automatic return when released, or raise the height of the table in the front to ensure automatic return by gravity. Among the feasible and useful methods to correct the hazard in instance h are providing an adjustable stop or extending the length of the table.
