Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: Seccion 6(a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico: El patrono no proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten causando o que puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados estaban expuestos a: At the AAA Import Inc., warehouse; metal shelves of multiples levels, the height from one level to the other fluctuated between 4 to 9 feet, and contained merchandise such as: detergents, plastics figures, glass, among others home and personal products, had the structurals uprights bended and broken. The employees moved, stored and shipped merchandise from the shelvess manually and/or using wheels carts, manual pallet jacks and a forklift, as was the case. Hazard: Failure of the shelf system and the merchandise over the employees. Among other correction methods, a feasible and acceptable is to repair or replace the structurals uprights. En el almacen de AAA Import Inc; anaqueles de metal de multiples niveles, cuya altura entre un nivel a otro fluctuaba entre 4 a 9 pies y que contenian mercancia tales como: detergentes, figuras de plasticos, vasos, entre otros articulos del hogar y personal, tenian los laterales estructurales doblados y rotos. Los empleados movian, despachaban y almacenaban mercancia de los anaqueles de forma manual y/o utilizando carros de ruedas, "pallets jacks" manuales o un montacarga, segun fuera el caso. Riesgo: Falla del sistema de anaquel y la mercancia encima de los empleados. Entre otros metodos de correccion uno factible y aceptable seria reparar o reemplazar los laterales estructurales del anaquel.rales
