Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 001 Hazard: FALLING
Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970. The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employee in that employees were exposed to fall hazards: a) On or about 01/13/2010 at 47 Cedar Grove Lane, Somerset, NJ 08873 employees were exposed to fall hazards while working on and from a job made work platform that was supported by the forks of a Gradall G6-42P Rough Terrain Lull with no fall protection system in place. ONE FEASIBLE AND ACCEPTABLE METHOD TO CORRECT THIS HAZARD, AMONG OTHER MEANS, WOULD BE FOR THE COMPANY TO PURCHASE AND OR RENT THE APPROPRIATE EQUIPMENT TO ELEVATE PERSONNEL TO THE WORK AREA.
