29 CFR 1910.119(h)(3)(iii): The contract employer did not document that each contract employee had received and understood the training required by 29 CFR 1910.119(h)(3): This violation was observed on or about 19 Jan 10, where the employer did not ensure that their employees were trained in the site specific operating procedures of the process on the EC2 platform and the related potential hazards that could be encountered. This exposed employees to fire, explosion and highly hazardous chemicals (HHC). Pursuant to 29 CFR 1903.19(d), within 10 calendar days of the date of the citation, the employer must submit documentation showing that it is in compliance with the standard, including describing the steps it is taking to ensure that all employees working on offshore platforms within the State territorial waters have been trained in the site specific process operating procedures of the platform.
