Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish to each of his employees employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to equipment roll over hazards: On May 31, 2011, at the 18th fairway, employees were exposed to equipment roll over hazards due to lack of seat belt usage while employees operated a ROPS equipped Toro Groundsmaster 4000-D, MN 30410, SN 220000566 near slopes, banks, and drop offs. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct this hazardous condition would be to require operators to wear the seat belt as described in "Toro Groundsmaster 4000-D Groundsmaster Traction Unit Model No. 30410 - Serial No. 220000201 and Up Operator's Manual." Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d).s
