Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish to each of his employees employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to being struck by moving or falling suspended load: a) Paint area on or about February 22, 2010. - Employees were exposed to being struck by suspended loads as the actuator buttons on the pendant controls of overhead under- slung hoists were not marked as to indicate the direction of travel that was controlled by each button. b) Fabrication area on or about February 22, 2010. - Employees were exposed to be by suspended loads as the actuator buttons on the pendant controls of overhead under- slung hoists were not marked as to indicate the direction of travel that was controlled by each button.
