Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized pressure, and the regulator output side gauge was of a range that inhibited the accurate setting/reading of the regulator pressure. Observed 3/31/2009. One feasible and reasonable means of abatement would be to install an appropriately sized pressure relief valve on the Walnut Shelling Pot. DOCUMENTATION OF ABATEMENT OF THIS VIOLATION IS REQUIRED.
