Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm in that employees were exposed to the potential hazard of being crushed or thrown out of a mast. For the employee working in the mast and below the mast of the service rig on or about August 13th, 2008. The employer did not ensure the mast was properly secured with guy wires. A feasible abatement would be to install proper anchor and wire rope to adequately secure the mast.e
