Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to struck-by/fall hazards: a) Wachovia Arena / Mohegan Sun Arena West main entrance, employees were riding on the back of a Bobcat skid steer Model 7753 while moving a pallet, observed on or about 01-21-10. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION AND DOCUMENTATION REQUIRED AMONG OTHERS, ONE FEASIBLE AND REASONABLE ABATEMENT METHOD IS TO FOLLOW THE MANUFACTURERS OPERATORS SAFETY WARNINGS AND NEVER CARRY RIDERS.
