KRS 338.031(1)(a): Each employer did not furnish to each of his employees employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or were likely to cause death or serious physical harm to his employees: a. The employer failed to maintain and keep in good working order, the pressure transducing equipment, installed by the manufacturer and intended for safety purposes on the Krauss-Maffei extruder located on the #2 extrusion line. Feasible and acceptable abatement methods would include the following items: 1. Repair damaged or defective equipment. 2. Replace damaged of defective equipment.
