Section 5(a)1 of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish to each of his employees employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to the hazards of being struck-by and falling: On or about 07/13/2007, an employee was exposed to struck-by and falling hazards while working under a flying deck form. Among other methods of abatement, one feasible and acceptable method to correct this hazard is to ensure that employees are prohibited to work under flying deck forms. PLEASE NOTE: DOCUMENTATION AND CERTIFICATION OF ABATEMENT IS REQUIRED FOR THIS VIOLATION.
