Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were likely to cause death or serious harm to employee in that employees were exposed to crushing hazards: Material Prep Yard: An employee operating the Mitsubishi forklift #1 serial AF19C5U172 was not wearing the provided seatbelts. Among other methods, one feasible and useful method to correct this hazard is to require and enforce the use of seatbelts when the forklift is operated.
