Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees exposed to a crushing or struck by hazard. a- 32 Worlds Fair Drive, Franklin Township NJ. Employees engaged in activities while working inside, above, and below the installed roof trusses were exposed to crushing/struck by hazards due to insufficient temporary bracing and overloading. Condition noted on or about 07/13/07. FEASIBLE AND ACCEPTABLE METHODS TO CORRECT THIS HAZARD WOULD BE FOR THE COMPANY TO FOLLOW: 1) BCSI-B1 GUIDE TO GOOD PRACTICE FOR HANDLING, INSTALLING, RESTRAINING & BRACING OF METAL PLATE CONNECTED WOOD TRUSSES, 2) BCSI-B4 CONSTRUCTION LOADING SHEET, 3) THE CONSULTATION OF A REGISTERED PROFESSIONAL ENGINEER.NAL
