Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: At the facility, located at 5701 Murray Street, steam pipes at temperatures of approximately 360 degrees and 390 degrees Fahrenheit, area not fully insulated, exposing employees performing such tasks including but not limited to Mold Changing and Maintenance on Presses Nos. 1-33, to the hazards of burns.
