Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: Seccion 6(a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico: El patrono no proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten causando o que puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados estaban expuestos a: At the "Departamento de Transportacion y Obras Publicas" in Manati, were found the air conditioner system damage in the following areas: a- "Personal" Offices b- "Finanza" Offices c- Construction Offices Among other methods one feasible and acceptable method to correct this hazard is that the employer replace or repair the air conditioner system. Hazards: Emotional stress and heat stress. En el "Departamento de Transportacion y Obras Publicas" en Manati, se encontro que el sistema acondicionador de aire estaba danado en las siguientes areas: a- Oficina de Personal b- Oficina de Finanza c- Oficina de Construccion Entre otros metodos un metodo factible y aceptable para corregir este riesgos es que el patrono arregle o reemplace los sistemas de acondicionadores de aire. Riesgos: estresor emocional y estresor de calor.
