Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that: On or about June 12, 2007, and times prior thereto, at a workplace located at 1301 N. Louisiana St., Celina, TX; the employer by not assuring that rig tanks were equipped with pressure release valves, exposed employees to struck-by hazards due to over-pressurized tanks. Among other methods, one feasible means of abatement includes but is not limited to: a.Install pressure relief device rig tanks in accordance with ASME, Pressure Vessels" 1977 edition.
