Stat. 182.653 subd. 2: The employer did not furnish to each employee, conditions of employment and a place of employment free from recognized hazards which caused or were likely to cause death or serious injury to employees: The Reed Oven Company (Model #5) rotating commercial oven had a malfunctioning shutoff switch which caused the rotating rack inside of the oven to inadvertently rotate when the doors to the oven were open and the switch was in the off position.ntly
