Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which is free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: (a) Residential construction site: The hazard of being exposed to a fall of approximately 18 feet to the ground below while working from a metal platform raised by a Square Shooter, all terrain forklift at the construction site located at 159 Jackson. Among other methods. One feasible and acceptable abatement method of correct this hazard while using an all terrain forklift for lifting personnel is to follow the requirements set forth in the ASME B56.6-2002.
