Labor and Employment Article, Section 5-104(a): The employer did not furnish emp loyment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that w ere causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: (a)Date of Violation:11/10 /04 Location:Rooftop Condition:Employees were exposed to the hazard of being cru shed/struck by collapsing roof trusses due to inadequate bracing techniques. Amo ng others, one feasible and acceptable method to correct this hazard is to insta ll bracing in accordance with the Wood Truss Council of America recommendations per BCSI 1-03. That prior to the date of issuance hereof, Carlos Orellana, T/A C arlos Carpentry violated the standard, regulation, or section of the MOSH Act ci ted herein, for which the following citation(s) was/were issued and became final : 1. Item No. 1, Citation No. 1 of Case No. G4167-081-04, issued on 07/14/04, re sulting from inspection at Easton Club East, Bradley Avenue, Lot 165, Easton, MD. 21601 and became final on 10/25/04. Abatement documentation (photographs, receipts, copies of programs, t raining certification, etc.) is required for this item.
