Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: Seccion 6(a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico: El patrono no proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten causando o que puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados estaban expuestos a: a)Tripping and falling hazards causing severes contusions, lacerations and abrasions. Employees were performing daily different tasks in a building which have some offices and used a restroom which have on the floor a space of 3' square feet without tiles. Location: Men restroom of the building known as "Servicio de Extension Agricola" of the UPR. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct this hazard is the placing of new tiles in the affected area. a)Riesgos de tropiezos y caidas ocasionando contusiones severas, laceraciones y abrasiones. Empleados estuvieron realizando diariamente diferentes tareas en un edificio el cual tiene varias oficinas y utilizaron un bano el cual tiene un espacio de 3' cuadrados sin tener losetas. Localizacion: Bano de los hombres del edificio conocido como Servicio de Extension Agricola de la UPR. Entre otros metodos, un metodo factible y aceptable para corregir este riesgo es la colocacion de nuevas losetas en el area afectada."
