Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 001 Hazard: FALLING
Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: Seccion 6(a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico: El patrono no proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten causando o que puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados estaban expuestos a: Employees exposed to falls and personal attack due to there no light in the school. It was observed that the school did not have bulbs in the posts, for this reason then to 6:00 PM the school was in darkness. The Genesis Security Services employees were doing their tasks as security guards at the Lola Rodriguez de Tio School, located on calle 46B Final Valle Arriba Heights Carolina. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable method to correct this hazard is place new bulbs to all posts in the school. Empleados expuestos a caidas y ataques personales debido a que no hay luz en la escuela. Se observo que en la escuela no tenian bombillas en los postes, por esa razon despues de las 6:00 PM la escuela estaba en obscuridad. Los empleados de Genesis Security Services realizaban sus tareas como gurdias de seguridad en la Escuela Lola Rodriguez de Tio, localizado en la calle 46B Final Valle Arriba Heights Carolina. Entre otros metodos, un metodo apropiado y aceptable para corregir este riesgo es colocar bombillas nuevas en todos los postes de la escuela.
