40.1-51.1.(a), Code of Virginia: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that: Spray Booth - The pump that was used to supply flammable paint to the spray application process was not provided with a means to automatically shut off the supply of paint liquid in case of a fire or operation of the extinguishing system as noted during an inspection on 3/17/04. "ONE FEASIBLE MEANS OF ABATEMENT IS TO INSTALL A DEVICE THAT WOULD COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF NATIONAL FIRE PROTECTION ASSOCIATION PUBLICATION NFPA 33 Standard for Spray Application Using Flammable or Combustible Materials 1995 Section 6-4.5.n
