Section 201 of the Executive Order 12196 of 1980: The employer did not furnish employees places and condition of employment that were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to an injury due to not being restrained in a forklift in case of tipping and/or roll-over. a)Warehouse building 330: Employee(s) operating Hyster Industrial Forklift trucks were not provided with seat belts. AMONG OTHER METHODS, ONE FEASIBLE AND ACCEPTABLE ABATEMENT METHOD TO CORRECT THIS HAZARD IS TO INSURE THAT ALL FORKLIFTS ARE PROVIDED WITH SEAT BELTS AS REFERENCED IN THE ASME B56.I 2000 "SAFETY STANDARD FOR LOW LIFT AND HIGH LIFT TRUCKS" AND OSHA'S NEW FORKLIFT TRAINING STANDARD.
