Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to a collapse: a)Weld Wire Fabric "mesh" did not extend to the exterior edge of the columns and shear wall along column line 1, on or about 10/30/03. b)One or more top longitudinal reinforcing bars of the exterior beam along column line 1 were not placed through the column, on or about 10/30/03.
