Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish a place of employment which was free from recognized hazards that were likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employee(s) were exposed to the accidental cycling of paper drill machinery because the foot pedal was not guarded to prevent accidental actuation. On or about August 25, 2003, the foot pedal on an IRAM 16 paper drill was not guarded to prevent accidental actuation. Among others, one feasible method of abatement would be adequately guarding the foot pedal NO CERTIFICATION NOR DOCUMENTATION REQUIRED FOR THIS ITEM
