Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to bodily injuries such as scrapes, cuts, abrasions, from contact with damaged parts of overhead metal doors: (a) Location - Warehouse: On or about 4/15/03, overhead metal doors #11, #12 and #17 were observed damaged and in need of repair. Among other methods, feasible means of abatement methods include: (1) Replace door hinges, metal panels, other damaged parts. (2) Replace entire door(s) if necessary.
