Section 223(a) of the Vermont Occupational Safety and Health Act: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to possible injuries when employees were exposed to an emergency stop cord that was not operable. Location: Emergency stop cord on power unit #4 Violation: The emergency pull cord to stop the conveyor was inoperable for a 24' section of the conveyor system.r
