Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: Seccion 6(a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico: El patrono no proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten causando o que puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados estaban expuestos a: At the facilities of the Book Publication of the "Instituto de Cultura Puertorriquena", the employees were observed performing in the selection of the materials for the publications and computer writing tasks. In the followings areas, the ceiling of all the establishment were observed with leaks and racks; a) Manuscript Archives Area b) Administration Area c) Director Office d) Reception Area e) Lunch Area f) Computer Area g) Balcony Area Hazard: Slips and falls Among others correction methods, a feasible and acceptable method to correct this hazard is repair all the ceiling. En las facilidades del Instituto de Cultura Puertorriquena, Publicacion de Libros - los empleados fueron observados realizando tareas de seleccion de materiales para la publicacion the libros y escribiendo en computadoras.En las siguientes areas el techo de todo el establecimiento se observo con filtraciones y grietas; a) Area de Archivos de Manuscritos b) Area de Administracion c) Oficina de la Directora d) Area de Recepcion e) Area del Comedor f) Area de las Computadoras g) Area del Balcon Riesgo:Resbalones y caidas Entre otros metodos de correccion, un metodo factible y aceptable para corregir este riesgo es reparar el techo.r
