Section 5 (a) (1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment or a place of employment which was free from recognized hazards that are causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees, in that employees were exposed to oncoming vehicle traffic while standing on top of concrete highway dividers. Belvidere Construction Co. - Employees were not protected from oncoming vehicular traffic while standing on top of concrete highway dividers. A feasible and acceptable means of abatement is to follow the guidelines established in Part VI of the Manual on uniform Traffic Control Devices, MUTCD. CORRECTED ON-SITE.D
