Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to the hazard of being crushed by the farm tractor when parked on sloping terrain: (a)John Deere 4350 Tractor - On or about 05/08/2002, tractor operators were exposed to being crushed by the tractor when parking on sloping terrain in the event the tractor rolled. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable method would include providing and ensuring the use of wheel chocks when parking on sloping terrain.
