Section 5(A)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish to each of his employees employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or are likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: On or about July 26, 2001 at Dunwoody Groves, Clewiston, FL, the employer did not ensure that employees riding and/or driving Kawasaki Mule 550 Utility Vehicles were wearing seatbelts. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable method to correct this hazard is: Ensure that employees riding and/or driving Kawasaki Mule 550 utility vehicles wear the seatbelts as required by the operator's manual, pages 34 and 35. PLEASE NOTE: CERTIFICATION OF ABATEMENT IS NOT REQUIRED FOR THIS VIOLATION.
