Minn. Stat. 182.653 subd. 2: The employer did not furnish to each employee, conditions of employment and a place of employment free from recognized hazards which caused or were likely to cause death or serious injury to employees; and The Ridgid 300 pipe threader located on the roof of the new Cub Foods Store was not equipped with a "deadman" type foot switch. Among other methods, feasible and acceptable abatement methods to correct this hazard would be to provide a foot switch for the Ridgid 300 pipe threading machine as recommended by the manufacturer in their 1987 publication on this matter.tion
