T.C.A. 50-3-105(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: In that the employees working as yard hands are not protected from heavy equipment (tractors, bulldozers, back hoes, graders, etc.) falling on them as they remove salvable parts. One feasible abatement, among others, includes using a secondary means of supporting the heavy equipment while the employees are removing parts. ABATEMENT VERIFICATION REQUIREDTION
