Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish to each of his employees employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to the hazard of an aerial lift tipping over while working at a height of approximately 65 feet: (a) Jobsite-Brock Road-Rockmart, Ga: The employer failed to ensure that outriggers were used as required by ANSI A92.2-1990 section 10.8(3) and referenced in the Altec Industries Maintenance and Parts Manual. A feasible and acceptable method of abatement is to extend the outriggers as required by ANSI A92.2-1990, Section 10.8(3), the Altec Industries Maintenance and Parts Manual, the Operator's Manual, and Pike Electric's Safety Training Manual, Section 208, page 61. ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION AND CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
