29 CFR 1960.8(a): The head of the agency did not furnish to each employee employment and a place of employment which are free from recognized hazards that are causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm. a) At the work site - Employees working on the Snap-On Creeper, Model # JC26A, with the adjustable headrest, were exposed to the hazard of equipment malfunction on or about 10/17/01. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct this hazard is to secure the headrest in raised position.
