North Carolina General Statute 95-129(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of North Carolina: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: Ref:B30.11-2.2.2-1980 (a)buildings 1 & 2 -- underhung cranes had not been load tested prior to use. Note:Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct this hazard is to have the cranes load tested.
