Section 5(a)(1) of Public Law 91-596, the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees, in that employees were exposed to: Hazard of being caught in rotating bore pipe or rotating stem. (a)County Road 189 - On October 2, 2000 employees were allowed to wear loose clothing when working around JT606 Sure Bore Machine. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable method to correct this hazard is: Prohibit employees from wearing loose clothing during the operation of the JT606 Sure Bore Machine.
