KRS 338.031(1)(a): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that: a. On July 27, 1998, at the Burger King construction site in Florence, Kentucky, employees of Thornton Construction had placed 46 foot trusses using a temporary bracing design and materials which were insufficient according to manufacturers instructions.
