Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: Seccion 6(a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico: El patrono no proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten causando o que puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados estaban expuestos a: Employees exposed to the collapse or fall down of the storage frames. At Econo Rial, located at the Road 185 Km. 0.9, Canovanas, at the warehouse area: Where the employees works receiving and accomodating the merchandise, was observed that the frames were the merchandise was stored did not have the anchorage bolts and in some components of the frames were bended due to hits with the forklifts. The employees climb onto the frames to accomodate the merchandise. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable method to correct this hazard is putting in place the anchorage bolts and changing or reforcing the bended components of the frame. Empleados expuestos a que los armazones de almacenaje se viren o desplomen. En Econo Rial, localizado en la Carr. 185 Km. 0.9, Canovanas, en el area del almacen: Donde los empleados trabajan recibiendo y acomodando la mercancia, se observo que los armazones donde se almacena la mercancia no tenian los tornillos de anclaje y en algunos componentes de los armazones estaban doblados debido a golpes con los montacargas. Los empleados se suben en los armazones para acomodar la mercancia. Entre otros metodos, un metodo apropiado y aceptable para corregir este riesgo es colocando en su lugar los tornillos de anclaje y cambiando o reforzando los componentes doblados del armazon.
