29 CFR 5A. 1: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to a fall hazard: (a)Roofing Area - Employee observed working at edge of roof without fall protection while nailing roof to side wall using a nail gun. Employee was exposed to a fall hazard of at least 15 feet. Among other methods, one way of abatement is to provide a catch platform on the unprotected side of the roof and use safety harness.
