Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not provide employment and a place of employment that was free of recognized hazards in that employees were exposed to falls when on manufactured equipment. Building H. Employees conducting inspection, assembly, and other operations on excavators were not protected from falling approximately 8 feet to the floor.
