Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: On or about July 13 1996, at 730 Barfield Drive, Marco Island Florida, the Kubota tractor, model number LA1150A, serial number 61203, which was in use, was attached with a box blade which was approximately 8'0". The box blade exceeded the manufacturers safe recommendation of a maximum box blade size of 6'4". Among other feasible methods of abatement, one such method would be to use a smaller box blade which will meet the manufacturer's specifications and recommendations.pyy(>
